ASDR Conference Awards

We offer a large number of awards to support our member and non-member delegates

ASDR Conference Travel Awards

Eligibility

• Must be a current ASDR member
  
• Applicants career stage must be one of the following categories:
  
• Enrolled PhD
• Early-Mid Career researcher with ≤ 7 years post-PhD
• Clinical/Dermatology Trainee

Application Process

• Applicants must submit their abstract before the abstract deadline, and awardees are selected from the best scoring abstracts 

Assessment Criteria

• Applications are assessed according to scientific quality and clarity of abstract. 

Value

• Up to 3 x awards for the PhD career stage category (valued at AUD 150 if locally-based or AUD 500 if interstate-based, plus complimentary Early Bird registration)
• Up to 3 x awards for the EMCR career stage category (valued at AUD 150 if locally-based or AUD 500 if interstate-based, plus complimentary Early Bird registration)
• Up to 3 x awards for the Clinical / Dermatology Trainee category (valued at AUD 150 if locally-based or AUD 500 if interstate-based, plus complimentary Early Bird registration)

ASDR Conference Presentation Awards

Eligibility

• Must be a current ASDR member
  
• Applicants career stage must be one of the following categories:
  
• Enrolled PhD
• Early-Mid Career researcher with ≤ 7 years post-PhD
• Clinical/Dermatology Trainee

Application Process

• Applicants must submit their abstract before the abstract deadline, and awardees are selected from the best scoring abstracts 

Assessment Criteria

• Applications are assessed according to scientific quality and clarity of oral presentation during the conference

Value

• 1 x award for the PhD career stage category (valued at AUD 250)
• 1 x award for the EMCR career stage category (valued at AUD 250)
• 1 x award for the Clinical / Dermatology Trainee category (valued at AUD 250)

ASDR Conference Poster Awards

Eligibility

• Must be a current ASDR member
  
• Applicants career stage must be one of the following categories:
  
• Enrolled PhD
• Early-Mid Career researcher with ≤ 7 years post-PhD
• Clinical/Dermatology Trainee

Value

• 1 x award for the PhD career stage category (valued at AUD 150)
• 1 x award for the EMCR career stage category (valued at AUD 150)
• 1 x award for the Clinical / Dermatology Trainee category (valued at AUD 150)

ASDR Medical Student Bursary

Eligibility

• May be a current ASDR member or non-member
  
• Applicants must be enrolled in a medical degree at a recognised tertiary institution.

Application Process

• Applicants must submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) (max 250 words) expressing their interest in the dermatology field and their motivations to attend the Annual Scientific Meeting.
• Email in your EOI using the button below, before the Early Bird deadline.

Assessment Criteria

• Expressions of Interest are assessed and ranked, and the top 3 will be notified.

Value

• Up to 3 x  Student Registrations for the Annual Scientific Meeting
