
Abstract Submissions - Open May 9th - 26th 2025
We are pleased to announce that abstract submissions will open in May 2025 for the ASDR 2025 Annual Scientific Meeting, taking place from 17–19 July 2025 at the Translational Research Institute (TRI) in Brisbane, Queensland.
This year, we’ve launched a convenient website where members can renew memberships, lodge abstracts, and register for the conference all on the same website.
We are inviting abstracts to the following themes:
- Melanoma
- Non-Melanoma Skin Cancers
- Skin Inflammation and Immunology
- Wound healing
- Fundamental Skin Research
- Epidemiology
- Clinical Trials
- Genomics
ASDR members already have an account on the new platform, but will need to retrieve their unique passwords. If you’re logging in for the first time, simply use the ‘Forgot password’ link to set a new password.
What types of presentations are available?
Both oral presentations and poster presentations will be offered based on abstract merit. The Scientific Program Committee reserve the right to review and allocate abstracts to the program based on abstract excellence and suitability to the program.
How to submit an abstract
1. Ahead of time, ensure you can log in to this website:
- If you are a current ASDR Member, you will already hold a member account on this website. Please use the email address registered with ASDR, and obtain your password by clicking the password retrieval function here.
- If you are not an ASDR member and would not have formerly held an ASDR membership, please proceed by creating a free account.
2. Prepare your abstract.
Click here to download the latest version of the abstract template (v 20/5/25).
Ensure your abstract meets the following requirements:
- Includes a clear and concise title
- Lists all contributing authors with the presenting author underlined
- Lists affiliations in the format: Institution, Department, City, State.
- The abstract body should be no more than 2500 characters (note that at 20/5/25 the character count has been increased).
- The format (as indicated on the abstract template) will be:
- Background and significance of the study
- Succinct description of the basic methodologies
- Major findings of the study
- Concluding statement
- Label your file with "SURNAME_firstname_1" (number if you are submitting more than 1 abstract)
Submissions that are not prepared on the provided template, do not follow this structure or exceed the character limit may not be accepted.
Click the button below and follow the prompts. You will receive a confirmation email once your abstract has been successfully submitted. You can also view/ edit your submitted abstract when logged into your account, up until the abstract close deadline.
Note that the submitting author must be the presenting author.
Abstracts received by email will not be accepted.
